EC-Talk: Building Your Fantasy Startup Dream Team
SINGAPORE, 12 Dec 2015 – More than hundred people turn out at the inaugural EC-Talk yesterday, overwhelming the swanky Meeting Point at Block 73, Ayer Rajah Crescent.
EC-Talk, where EC stands for Eddie Chau – one of TNF’s investor mentor, is a 1 hour firechat session moderated by serial entrepreneurs Eddie Chau. He aims to bring key leaders in startup circle and beyond together, consolidating their views, ideas and experiences on various important questions surrounding the startup ecosystem.
Yesterday session saw him tackling one of the most important questions for every startup: How to build a core team that will attract investors and bring business to the next level? The panelist includes seasoned investors Hugh Mason from JFDI, Shirley Wong from TNF Ventures, Derek Lau from Heliconia and established entrepreneurs Glen Francis from CIO Academy Asia and Cameron Priest from TradeGecko.
Some of the tough but important questions addressed to panels include:
- What is an ideal startup founder team size?
- Would an investor invest in a single founder startup?
- Do you think leader needs to assume a different persona when managing his/her startups?
- Do you think leader needs to be tough?
- And more….
Answers to these questions are kept within the session only, so make sure you attend the next EC-Talk personally next time!
The inaugural EC-Talk is jointly organized by TNF Ventures and JFDI; and sponsored by NetApp and SITF 123JumpStart.
