Eden Lau is the Co-Founder of Brandtology Pte. Ltd. and serves as its Managing Director of North Asia region, COO and CEO at Brandtology prior its acquisition by iSentia. Currently Eden is the Regional Director, Social at iSentia Group Limited.
Since founding of Brandtology in 2008, Eden has been pioneering the research and analysis on the social media big data for unfolding market and consumer trends. He is a renowned expert on social media metrics, analytics, and insights. Recently, he applies machine learning for analysing social big data.
Mr. Lau has extensive experience in Asia business and brand management and more than 30 years of experience in the trade. He gained extensive exposure in China business environment from his building of the Brandtology North Asia team from scratch. His expertise was on branding and marketing and he pioneered quantitative analytics in studying brand and customer dynamics, developed key strategic insights and executed the corresponding strategy implementations.
Before moving into China, he served as Director of Marketing at Hutchison Telecommunication and General Manager (Marketing) at Hong Kong Telecom/PCCW.
Eden is an influential thought leader on the emerging communications and ecommerce strategies in Asia. He was often called upon by the industry to speak on brand building and customer management.
Eden holds a MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and also completed an International Executive Development Program in INSEAD, France.
